Base Legal, Aceptación de términos y condiciones

A través de esta opción, usted podrá solicitar de manera VOLUNTARIA y GRATUITA su inscripción en el Registro Único de Contribuyentes para obtener de manera digital su tarjeta de NIT; lo anterior de acuerdo a lo estipulado en el artículo 1 y 4 de la Ley del Registro y Control Especial de Contribuyentes al Fisco, por lo que, antes de iniciar su solicitud en línea deberá tomar en cuenta lo siguiente:
1. Que para iniciar su trámite los documentos solicitados en el proceso deberán estar vigentes.
2. Que conforme al Art. 288 del Código Penal de El Salvador el documento de identidad no debe ser de otra persona a fin de evitar el cometimiento de delito por el uso falso del mismo.
3. Que conforme a los Arts. 7 y 13 de la Ley del Nombre de la Persona Natural, el NIT se emitirá con el nombre propio y no su “conocido por”.
4. Que la administración de la cuenta es de exclusiva responsabilidad del usuario, por lo que, en caso de incumplir con las disposiciones acá plasmadas o hacer mal uso de ella, será acreedor de las acciones administrativas y penales respectivas, por parte de las autoridades competentes.
Legal Basis, Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Through this option, you may VOLUNTARILY and FREE OF CHARGE request your registration in the Single Taxpayer Registry (RUC) in order to obtain your NIT card digitally. This is in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1 and 4 of the Law on the Registry and Special Control of Taxpayers to the Treasury. Therefore, before starting your online application, you must take into account the following:
1. To initiate your process, the documents requested must be valid.
2. According to Article 288 of the Penal Code of El Salvador, the identity document must not belong to another person in order to avoid committing a crime by the false use thereof.
3. According to Articles 7 and 13 of the Law on the Name of Natural Persons, the NIT will be issued with the legal name and not the "known as" name.
4. The account management is the sole responsibility of the user; therefore, in case of non-compliance with the provisions set forth herein or misuse of the account, the user will be subject to the corresponding administrative and criminal actions by the competent authorities.
